ViaBlue Speaker Cable
German speaker cables, terminated by hand, with silver-plated copper strands and gold-plated connectors.
ViaBlue has made cables in Germany since 2001. Its SC speaker cables (SC-2, SC-4 and SC-6 AIR) use oxygen-free copper with silver-plated strands, and are terminated by hand with 24-carat gold-plated T8 banana plugs, spades or crimped ends. The braided sleeve, in Cobra or black, makes them a good choice where cables are on show.

ViaBlue makes its cables in Germany and fits the connectors by hand.
Gold-plated T8 connectors
ViaBlue's own T8 banana plugs and spades are 24-carat gold-plated and fit standard binding posts. Bare-wire versions come with crimped ferrules, also gold-plated.
OFC copper, silver-plated strands
The conductors are oxygen-free (OFC) copper, with silver-plated strands for the treble. The SC-6 AIR separates its conductors with air-filled tubes to keep capacitance low.
Braided sleeve
Each cable has a braided sleeve, Cobra or black, and ViaBlue splitters that keep the conductors tidy and protect them from kinking.
In real rooms
ViaBlue cables suit systems where the cables are on show: the braided sleeve and metal plugs look tidy next to good speakers and furniture.
