Why CombiCon connectors?

The modular M6-threaded connectors let you change between banana and spade terminations without re-terminating the cable. This is useful when you change components or need to fit a different type of binding post.

How do I connect the ground lead?

At the amplifier end only: to its ground terminal if it has one, to the negative speaker terminal, or to a chassis screw.

How does this compare to much more expensive cables?

German magazine STEREO gave it its "Heaven's Gate" seal, reserved for its top class of cables, and called it one of the most affordable cables in that class.

What length options are available?

Pairs of 2, 3 and 4 m, plus 25 cm jumpers for bi-wire speakers. Contact me if you need help choosing the length for your room.

What it solves

Engineered to deliver accurate sound in real rooms, not just anechoic chambers.

Bifilar-wound litz conductors

Each conductor has 24 individually insulated strands of 5N copper, half wound in each direction. This cancels magnetic fields and keeps inductance low.

Rhodium-plated copper plugs

Solid copper plugs with rhodium plating, on CombiCon CB03-EX crimp bodies designed for Excalibur. Each conductor is crimped at the factory for an airtight joint.

Modular CombiCon system

The M6-threaded bodies take banana (BFA) plugs or spades, both supplied, so you can change terminations without re-terminating the cable.

Shielded, with a ground lead

The twisted conductors are shielded against interference, and a 30 cm XL Annorum lead connects the shield to ground at the amplifier end.
