Privacy Policy

Callens Audio Labs ("we", "us") takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Swiss data protection law (revDSG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.

When you use our contact form, booking form, or AI chat, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, phone number (optional), and message content. We use this data solely to respond to your inquiry, arrange a demo session, or follow up on your conversation.

We ask for your consent before placing any non-essential cookies. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. Your consent preference is stored in your browser's local storage (not as a cookie) so we do not ask again. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

PostHog (requires consent)

We use PostHog, hosted in the EU (eu.posthog.com), to understand how visitors navigate the site. PostHog sets cookies and may collect: pages viewed, referrer URL, browser and device type, approximate location (country/region), and session duration. PostHog is only activated if you accept analytics cookies via the consent banner. Data is processed by PostHog Inc. under their Data Processing Agreement.

Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights

We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate page view statistics and Vercel Speed Insights for performance monitoring. These tools do not set cookies and do not collect personally identifiable information. They provide anonymous, aggregated data only.

When you submit a form, we use Resend to deliver email notifications. Resend processes your email address and name solely for delivery purposes, subject to their own privacy policy.

Our contact page embeds a Google Maps widget. Google may set its own cookies when this content loads. Google's privacy policy applies to this embedded content.

Our website includes an AI chat feature powered by third-party language model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI). When you use the chat, your name, email, and conversation content are sent to these providers for processing. Conversations are stored in our database for follow-up purposes. No chat data is used for advertising or sold to third parties.

We process personal data on the following legal bases: consent (analytics cookies), legitimate interest (essential website functionality, security), and contractual necessity (responding to inquiries, processing demo bookings).

Some of our service providers (PostHog, Vercel, Resend, Anthropic, OpenAI) may process data outside of Switzerland. Where applicable, adequate data protection is ensured through standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Form submissions and chat conversations are retained for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry, then deleted. Analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Under Swiss data protection law (revDSG) and the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You also have the right to withdraw consent for analytics at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at paul@callensaudiolabs.ch.
