What amplifier does the Atalante 3 need?

Starting from 30 watts is fine for moderate listening. For full dynamic range, we recommend 50-150W from a quality amplifier like the Eversolo AMP-F2. The 6-ohm impedance is an easy load for most amplifiers.

How does it compare to the Sprint 3?

Both share Revival Audio's core technologies (RASC tweeter, BSC woofer), but the Atalante 3 has a premium walnut cabinet with the signature belt & knot design, plus a different crossover tuning at 2.8kHz offering a warmer, more refined character. The Sprint 3's ELYTRON baffle focuses on directivity control.

What is BSC woofer technology?

Basalt Sandwich Construction uses basalt fibre-extracted from lava stone-in a three-layer sandwich with felt and polymer. It's lighter than glass fibre with a better Young's modulus, providing fast, controlled bass with excellent damping. It's also eco-sustainable.

Does it need a subwoofer?

With -3dB at 44Hz, the Atalante 3 has impressive bass extension for a bookshelf speaker. In rooms up to 25m², most listeners won't feel the need for a sub. For larger rooms or bass-heavy music, a quality subwoofer can extend the experience further.
