What it solves
Engineered to deliver accurate sound in real rooms, not just anechoic chambers.
Full-range, no sub needed
Two 8" woofers face the wall behind the speaker and use it to reinforce the bass, with response down to 20 Hz. No subwoofer to buy, place or integrate.
RoomMatching & cardioid midrange
From 100 Hz up, the 8c radiates in a cardioid pattern and sends little energy towards the wall behind it, so it can sit close to the wall without boomy bass. RoomMatching then adapts it to your room and listening position.
Built-in streaming & BACCH
Roon Ready and Spotify Connect are built in: stream over Ethernet with no extra box. The 8c also supports BACCH 3D spatial audio (optional licence) and accepts analog or AES3 sources over XLR.

In real rooms
Most speakers fight the room. The 8c works with it. Its cardioid midrange and boundary-coupled bass give accurate low end without heavy acoustic treatment, with the speakers close to the wall. Setup and in-room calibration are included in the greater Lausanne region.

Craftsmanship
Built to sound as good as it looks.
Solid oak exterior
19 mm solid oak side and top panels. Oak is a natural material: each panel has its own grain and character.
Birch plywood interior
18 mm birch plywood creates separate compartments for each driver section, maximising rigidity and acoustic isolation. The result is an inert enclosure: you hear only the drivers.
Precision baffle
Injection-moulded, damped ABS front baffle with a smooth surface that minimises diffraction around the waveguide and drivers.

Purpose-built floor stand designed by Dutch & Dutch. Sand-fillable to damp resonances. The speaker bolts directly to the stand for a solid, stable platform. Available in matte black.
